What Makes Us Unique
This is primarily a networking event, not a syndicate group! Our goal is to facilitate the introductions of founders with the right local investors. Founders should expect to share their company with a new community of angels, VCs and service providers, and plan to secure 1-on-1 follow-up meetings after the event.
Both the entrepreneurs and the investors apply to attend the event.
Investors have to be active, meaning they have made at least 3 early-stage investments in the last 12 months.
The top 5-6 entrepreneurs are selected based on team, traction, and other key features after filling out a short application.
The event is free for both entrepreneurs and investors thanks to local sponsors who finance all operations.
It's not your typical pitch event. It starts with an entrepreneur roundtable, followed by a happy hour to break the ice. Next, everyone sits down for dinner and the investors introduce themselves and their last investment. Then, the entrepreneurs, often with a drink in hand, pitch their company while everyone enjoys family-style dinner. Each company gets 5 minutes to pitch and 5 minutes for Q&A.
